Boomkwekerij Moed: Family business with years of experience
J.H. Moed Boomkwekerijen started in the 1920s, originally as a mixed arable-dairy farm that was started by Bertus Moed. Not long after, Jan Moed, the grandfather of the current generation, took the first steps to the nursery by starting to cultivate rose rootstocks. This formed the basis for what has become a renowned nursery.
Bert Moed, son of Jan, continued the growth of the business. He introduced the production of soft fruit, forestry and hedging plants, which expanded the range of the nursery. This expansion underlined J.H. Moed Boomkwekerijen's specialisation in a range of plants.
Today, Jeroen Moed, the fourth generation of the family, is actively involved in the business. With his ambition to expand and perfect the nursery even further, J.H. Moed Boomkwekerijen remains a leading family business with deep-rooted professional knowledge and expertise. Due to these years of experience and specialisation, the nursery is a leading name in the sector.
